I am fizzing with glee to be supporting the fabulous Zoe Lyons on selected dates for her Little Misfit tour.
All simpering and rectal-convection aside, Zoe is one of my all-time favourite comics and a first-rate tremendous human being to boot, so I am genuinely delighted to be opening for a real virtuoso of the craft and the reigning Comedian's Comedian.
Tour dates can be found here.
Very excited to say that my hilarious gig-buddy and long-time writing amigo, the award-winning Ingrid Dahle & I are in the final stages of putting together a brand new show called Hoo-Haa!.
Look for its debut sometime very soon.
COMIC BOOM @ KOMEDIA BRIGHTON
Where comedy started for me.
After playing it a number of times and always having a real blast, I've been asked to headline Comic Boom, downstairs in the big room at Komedia Brighton, and I couldn't be more pleased.
I've got a few nice surprises planned so I'd love to see you there.
Tickets can be found here.
BETTER RECORD SOME MUSIC THEN
After literally tens of requests to have some recorded music for people to buy I've actually bitten the bullet and started work on a proper album.
It will be some songs from the set, but also some longer, sillier, stranger and a few downright peculiar compositions for your sonic delectation.
Expect subjects as diverse as the redemption of a cockney lumberjack, passive-aggressive gift wrapping and how to dance like a genius.
Featuring contributions from former bandmates Rowan Thompson, Matt Szul and a rap, yes RAP, from Ingrid Dahle.
Should be ready the first bit of next year, but until then, why not have a listen to these gems.

LOLBOX @ KOMEDIA BRIGHTON
I'm so chuffed to be asked to headline LOLBOX in the gorgeous studio bar at Komedia Brighton. It's a fundraiser in aid of the sustainable development charity Raleigh International and is being organised by Gogglebox star Alex Michaels.Come along and support a great charity with a slew of fantastic acts.Tickets can be found here.
JEN BRISTER THING
I've been flat out working on a fab new project with the wonderful Mz Brister.
More news to come but it's shaping up very nicely.
Make sure to catch Jen live and check out her wonderful regular feature Tales From The Other Mother (among many others) for the brilliant Standard Issue Magazine.
I've just started work on what will be the liner-notes to end all liner-notes.
I'm writing a book to coincide with my very first hour show which I hope to debut next year.
The show itself has a few titles I'm mulling over, but for now, the book will be called "Catch A Falling Star".
Check back for updates.
I've taken the plunge and started work on my first hour show.
So far I've tackled carpentry, hero-worship and everyone I'm writing about dying.
I think this could be a challenge.
If you've ever seen me live (if you haven't you should, I'm spectacular) and have enquired about my website, you would have been met with a sheepish-grin like Fred's in the picture and I probably would have complimented you on your shoes to change the subject.
The fact of the matter was that I was embarrassed.
My previous website was like having a penis that was tiny.
I had one and it was functional yes, but I was too ashamed to admit to it, let alone happily show people.
The gigs hadn't been updated since before all-celebrities-ever had started leaving the planet, and in general the website hadn't been touched for over two years (I know how it feels).
So with that grotesque image now lodged in your mind I give you, my new website.
Sign up to the newsletter/mailing list thing, have a general nosey about and if you spot any typos please do feel free to tell me. Nicely. Don't be a meanie.
IN THE MONEY
Proud to say that I have just finished a lovely stint supporting the mighty Simon Evans on his nationwide "In The Money" tour.
Will be uploading a tour-pix gallery and a few choice blog posts very soon.
